Ammonia Evaporation Skid for a Gas-Fired Power Plant in Germany

14.04.2021

The steam generator of a gas-fired power plant in Duisburg is being retrofitted with a selective-catalytic denitrification facility (SCR unit). After having revamped a first power station unit, a second one is retrofitted to comply with future NOx emission regulations during operation.

We are responsible for the CFD flow optimization of the new SCR unit, as well as for the design, manufacturing and supply of the complete ammonia evaporation and control skid. The evaporation unit is operated with process steam.

Thereby, our customer once again relies on both our technical competence and experience for the execution of the project.
