Optimized Static Mixing System Flowte-X

After four months of simulating (CFD) and testing, our Flowte-X static mixing system is now optimized for mixing at a very low pressure drop. The mixing system is already in operation in four facilities in Europe. In SCR units with ducts of rectangular shape and flue gas velocities below 12 m/s (max. 120'000 Nm³/h), the pressure drop remains below 1 mbar. With respect to the mixing quality, a NH₃/NO_x molar ratio of less than 5% RMS can easily be achieved. A static mixer of this type has recently been delivered to a customer in North America for the first time.
