2003: Formation of a Joint Venture Company in the USA

In 2003, in the light of the growing market and the good reputation of Flowtech in the USA, Flowtech Industries AG formed a joint venture company in North Carolina, USA, named Flowtack.

Know-how was transfered to the joint venture company by Flowtech Industries AG. The company was supported technically in the accomplishment of several projects such as Homer City, Baily and Stuart.

2006: Spin-off

In mid 2006, all the Flowtack shares were sold to the US joint venture partners by Bernhard Hug. The technical cooperation was terminated as well. The service to the US market was immediately resumed from our head office in Winterthur, Switzerland.
